Welcome to getqreport.com, provided by Q REPORT LLC ("we," "us," or "getqreport.com"). We, together with our affiliates and subsidiaries, created this Privacy Policy ("Policy") to apply to all users and clients of our website, getqreport.com, and the associated products, services, reports, data, information, and materials offered therein (collectively, the "Services").
This Policy applies to your use of the Services and is part of and supplements the getqreport.com Terms of Service (the "Terms"), available at https://www.getqreport.com/terms
PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THIS POLICY. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES CONSTITUTES YOUR CONSENT TO THIS POLICY TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. DO NOT USE THE SERVICES IF YOU ARE UNWILLING OR UNABLE TO CONSENT TO THIS POLICY.
We may revise this Policy from time to time. Any revision will be posted on getqreport.com/privacy or another location we identify. Where required by law, we may provide additional notice of material changes. Depending on where you live, you may be entitled to certain rights with respect to some or all of your Personal Information. Please see Section 10 below.

1.1 Usage of Cookies and Other Network Technologies
We may collect information directly and through service providers using cookies, pixels, web beacons, local storage, session-replay technologies, analytics tools, and similar technologies. The technologies actually used by getqreport.com may change over time. You can control cookies through your browser and, where available, through consent-management tools provided on our website.
Cookies. Cookies and similar local-storage technologies may remember preferences, maintain sessions, support authentication, measure site performance, and help us understand how the Services are used. Blocking certain cookies may limit some functionality.
Pixels and Web Beacons. Pages and emails may contain pixels or similar technologies that help measure visits, interactions, email opens, link clicks, and system performance.
Analytics. We may use analytics and session-replay providers to understand how visitors use the Services, improve functionality, troubleshoot technical issues, and enhance usability. These tools may collect page views, clicks, scroll behavior, and technical browser and device information. Today we use Vercel Web Analytics (page views and a single "Signup" event), Vercel Speed Insights (page load performance), and Sentry (error and crash reports). We do not currently use any session-replay, screen-recording, or heatmap tool. We may add Google Analytics in the future.
Advertising Technologies. We do not use advertising or retargeting technologies. getqreport.com serves no ads, and we do not place advertising pixels, tags, or cookies on the site or share visitor information with advertising networks for targeted advertising. Because we do not run these technologies, there are no advertising opt-out choices to offer at this time. If that changes, we will update this policy and describe your choices before the change takes effect.
Mobile Technologies. If you access the Services through a mobile device, we may receive device and technical information. We do not collect precise geolocation unless a feature requests it and you permit that collection.
1.2 Do Not Track and Universal Opt-Out Signals
Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" or legally recognized universal opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control ("GPC"). getqreport.com will respond to GPC or similar signals where required by applicable law. Today no such signal changes how the site behaves, because we do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising and use no advertising or retargeting technologies, so there is no advertising opt-out for a signal to exercise. If that changes, we will implement support for these signals and update this policy.
2. Publicly Available Information
In addition to Personal Information collected from users of the Services, getqreport.com collects and processes Publicly Available Information and Public Data from sources such as government entities, public records systems, commercial data providers, and websites in order to provide property research, reports, analytics, and related Services.
Publicly Available Information may include property ownership and transaction information, parcel data, property characteristics, building permits, permit statuses, tax and assessment information, flood and evacuation data, school information, and other records lawfully made available to the general public or obtained from authorized providers.
Property reports may concern individuals who are not users of getqreport.com. We do not use account credentials, payment card data, private support communications, or other Personal Information collected directly from a user merely by virtue of that user using the Services as source content in property reports about that user or another person.
If you believe information about you appearing in a property report is inaccurate, or you wish to ask about the Publicly Available Information we process about you, email support@getqreport.com with the property address and a description of your request. Because much of this information originates with government agencies and public records systems, corrections at the source must generally be made with the agency that issued the record; we will identify the source and, where we are able, correct or remove the information within our Services.
3. Interactive Services
The Services may provide interactive features such as customer support chat, automated assistants, or other tools. If such features are offered, communications may be recorded and retained to provide the feature, maintain quality, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and improve the Services.
Certain property-intelligence functions may use artificial intelligence, machine learning, statistical models, or automated rules to classify, summarize, interpret, or explain property-related information. If a user submits Personal Information into an AI-enabled interactive feature, that information may be processed by service providers that support the feature. getqreport.com does not currently offer customer support chat or an automated assistant. The only AI-enabled function is an automated reader that interprets and summarizes building-permit records obtained from government sources; the information it processes is the property address you search and the public permit records for that property, not free-text content you compose. That processing is performed by Anthropic under commercial terms that do not permit your inputs or the resulting outputs to be used to train its generative-AI models. We do not use customer support correspondence or user-submitted content to train generative-AI models, and we do not provide such content to any third party for that purpose.
4. How We Use Your Personal Information
We use Personal Information for the purposes described in Section 1 and as otherwise disclosed at the time of collection, including to provide and improve the Services, authenticate users, process transactions, generate requested reports, maintain security, prevent fraud or abuse, respond to support requests, communicate with users, comply with law, and enforce our Terms.
A. Information Sharing or Disclosure
With Your Consent. We may disclose Personal Information when you direct us to do so or otherwise consent.
Legal and Administrative Reasons. We may disclose Personal Information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, court orders, subpoenas, or lawful government requests; protect the rights, property, or safety of getqreport.com, our users, or others; investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents; or enforce our Terms.
Third-Party Service Providers. We may disclose Personal Information to vendors that perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, cloud infrastructure, authentication, payment processing, customer support, email delivery, analytics, security, fraud prevention, and professional services. These providers may process Personal Information only as permitted by their agreements with us and applicable law.
Aggregate or Deidentified Information. We may use or disclose aggregated or deidentified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you, subject to applicable law.
Business Transfers. Personal Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction.
Affiliates. We may disclose Personal Information to our corporate affiliates for purposes consistent with this Policy. getqreport.com does not currently have corporate affiliates, and no Personal Information is shared with affiliates today. If we acquire or form affiliates in the future, we will update this Policy and describe any choices available to you before sharing occurs.
5. Links to Third-Party Sites
The Services may link to websites, governmental portals, data sources, maps, or services that we do not own or control. This Policy applies only to Personal Information collected by or on behalf of getqreport.com. Third-party services have their own privacy practices, and you should review those practices before providing Personal Information to them.
6. Information Security and Storage
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Information appropriate to the nature of the information we process. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. If you believe your account or Personal Information has been accessed without authorization, please contact us promptly using the information in Section 15.
7. Data Retention/Storage
We retain Personal Information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, to provide the Services, comply with legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud or abuse, and maintain appropriate business records. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and the context in which it was collected.
We may delete or deidentify information in accordance with our retention practices and applicable law. Currently we apply one fixed period: server-side copies of generated reports are automatically deleted seven days after they are saved. Account information, saved addresses, search and lookup history, and support correspondence are retained for the life of the account and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, security, and business-record purposes, and are deleted or deidentified on request where required by applicable law. getqreport.com does not currently process payments and does not collect or store payment card data, so no billing retention period applies. To request deletion of your account or associated information, email support@getqreport.com.
8. Your Choices
A. Notifications and Alerts
If you create an account, purchase Services, or provide your email address, we may send transactional and administrative communications concerning your account, purchases, billing, requested reports, security, customer support, and changes to the Terms or this Policy.
If getqreport.com offers saved-property alerts or updated-search notifications, you may receive communications concerning updates to property searches you have saved or requested. getqreport.com does not currently offer saved-property alerts or updated-search notifications. Saving a property or a search does not generate any message. The only communications we send today are account and security emails, such as sign-up confirmation and password reset, and replies to support requests you initiate. If we add alerts or notifications in the future, we will describe them here and provide a way to turn them off.
1. Email Notification Opt Out
You may opt out of marketing or promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in those communications. You may continue to receive non-marketing communications necessary to provide the Services or administer your account.
2. Browser Push Notification Opt Out
If browser push notifications are offered and you enable them, you may disable them through your browser or device settings. getqreport.com does not currently offer browser push notifications and never asks for permission to send them. If we add push notifications in the future, they will be entirely optional, and you will be able to turn them off through your browser or device settings.
B. Opting Out of Direct Marketing
Where applicable, you may manage marketing preferences by using the unsubscribe mechanism in our communications or contacting us. If getqreport.com uses third-party advertising technologies, additional opt-out mechanisms will be identified here or in a cookie/consent preference center. getqreport.com does not use targeted advertising. We place no advertising or retargeting technologies on the site, and no cookie or consent preference center is required at this time. We may send account holders email about the Services, including product updates, new features, and educational content. Every such message includes an unsubscribe link, and you may opt out at any time by using that link or by emailing support@getqreport.com. Opting out of these messages does not stop account and security emails, such as password resets, which are required to operate your account.
9. Geographic Location of Data Storage and Processing
The Services are operated from the United States, and Personal Information may be processed and stored in the United States and other locations where our service providers operate. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions whose data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
10. Notice of Privacy Rights for Residents of Certain U.S. States
Residents of certain U.S. states may have rights concerning their Personal Information under applicable state privacy laws. Depending on where you live and subject to legal exceptions, those rights may include the following:
- Right to Know and Access. You may have the right to confirm whether we process Personal Information about you and to request access to certain Personal Information and information about our processing.
- Right to Data Portability. You may have the right to obtain certain Personal Information in a portable and, where technically feasible, readily usable format.
- Right to Correction. You may have the right to request correction of inaccurate Personal Information.
- Right to Deletion. You may have the right to request deletion of certain Personal Information, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to Opt Out of Sale, Sharing, Targeted Advertising, or Certain Profiling. You may have the right to opt out of certain processing depending on applicable law. getqreport.com does not sell Personal Information and does not share Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined by applicable state privacy laws. We do not use Personal Information for targeted advertising and do not engage in profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you. The vendors described above act as our service providers or processors under written agreements that prohibit them from using Personal Information for their own purposes, which is a disclosure for a business purpose rather than a sale or share. Because we do not conduct these activities, there is no opt-out to exercise; if that changes, we will update this Policy and provide the required opt-out mechanism before the change takes effect.
- Right to Limit Certain Uses of Sensitive Personal Information. Where applicable, you may have the right to limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive Personal Information.
- Right to Non-Discrimination. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
- Right to Appeal. Where provided by law, you may have the right to appeal our denial of a privacy request.
Applicable rights, response periods, verification procedures, and exceptions vary by state. To exercise a right, use the methods described in Section 12 below. If required by applicable law and technically implemented, getqreport.com will honor recognized universal opt-out mechanisms such as GPC.
11. Notice to California Residents - "Shine the Light" Requests
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 may permit California customers to request certain information regarding disclosures of Personal Information to third parties for those third parties' direct marketing purposes. getqreport.com does not disclose Personal Information to third parties for those third parties' own direct marketing purposes. Our vendors are permitted to use Personal Information only to perform services for us and are contractually prohibited from using it to market their own products or services. If you are a California resident and wish to submit a request under Section 1798.83, email support@getqreport.com.
12. Exercising Your Data Subject Rights
To the extent applicable privacy law grants you rights concerning Personal Information, you may submit a request using the contact methods below. We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests and may request information reasonably necessary to verify that you are the person about whom the request relates. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, subject to verification and authorization requirements.
